Spain

The regions of Spain have their own languages, cultures and unique experiences to offer. Andalusia has its Arabic influence and the warmth of the Costa del Sol. Andalusian destinations include Granada, Cordoba, Malaga, Marbella and Gibraltar. In Catalonia Barcelona dominates with its sea and city feel and well-preserved medieval quarter (Barri Gotic). The Castilian and Spanish capital of Madrid has three of the greatest museums in all of Europe, tremendous nightlife and Spain's most progressive lifestyle. In the north, the Basque country is where you will find the beach and culinary paradise of San Sebastian and the modern art and architecture destination, Bilbao. The Balearic islands combine excellent beaches with nightlife (Ibiza, parts of Majorca) and less traveled inland towns and culture (Menorca). Together these varied cultures and fiercely individual cultures create the patchwork that is Spain.
